Reverse Osmosis, sometimes called hyper filtration, is perhaps the most technically complex class of membranes, affection separation at the micromolecular and ionic size range. Pore size ranging from 5 to 15 angstroms effect separation of the solutes down to 150 molecular weight and often lower.
