  • IDS ACOS 750

    With ACOS 750, IDS has developed a compact automation and telemetry device. The adaptable I/O periphery consists of intelligent compact terminals which, if necessary, can be distributed in a decentralised manner. Both the power supply and the CPU module are located in a sturdy metal housing and are mounted on a 35mm DIN top-hat rail, together with the module carrier. The I/O periphery consists of intelligent compact terminals in sturdy plastic housings. Communication between the CPU and the I/O terminals takes place via 100Mbit EtherCAT bus. As an option, the I/O periphery can be decentrally installed and can be connected by means of standard CAT5 cables. The maximum permissible distance between the modules is up to 100 m. In its standard version, the CPU module is equipped with an LC display and has an RS232 interface for parameterisation and service. Parameterisation takes place via the graphic engineering tool ACOS ET. The parameterisation and the archived values can be stored on an optional memory card. The CPU module has three serial RS232 interfaces for communication acc. to IEC 60870-5-101/-103 and Modbus RTU Master and – in its standard version – four integrated Ethernet Port Switches with integrated switch for IEC 60870-5-104 Client/Server and Modubs TCP Client.
